It has been evaluated by NSA and is listed on both the NSA/CSS Evaluated Products Lists for Paper and for Optical Destruction Devices and it has an NSA/CSS Performance Test Rating of High Volume. The SS-16X media shredder is equipped with Dual Feed Openings and Two Separate Waste Bins, one for Paper and one for Optical Media. It destroys classified documents to Security Level P-7 in 1mm x 5mm particles. A dual-head cutting system for Optical Media destroys to Security Level O-6 with a shred size less than 2mm x 2mm. The All-Metal Drive System with Solid Steel Cutters, Heavy Duty Gearing and Chain Drive makes for high performance and long life.
