What counts as a high-security paper shredder?

A high-security paper shredder cuts documents into much smaller particles than a standard strip-cut or basic cross-cut shredder. It is used for confidential, regulated, security-sensitive, or classified document workflows where ordinary office shredding is not enough.

Is high security the same as NSA/DoD approved?

What security level should I choose?

Why are high-security shredders usually slower than standard office shredders?
