The 400-C2 is a Level P5 Cross Cut High-Volume Office Shredder with big features. Designed to shred large quantities of paper, this high-capacity crosscut shredder is equipped with a 24-Hour Continuous Duty motor for long shredding operations without timed cool down periods typical of most shredders on the market. This high-volume shredder is specially designed for cutting heads based on Floating Head Technology. Floating Head Cutters are more durable and wear resistant and are also easier to repair in case of accidental damage than most shredders that use solid block cutting heads. This allows for cutting head repair and the replacement of individual cutters in the event of damage, an option not available on most shredders. Carbon Hardened Steel Gears and a Heavy-Duty Chain make for an All-Metal Drive System that uses no internal nylon or plastic gears as is common in lower quality shredders. Our high-volume paper shredder easily handles Paper, CD’s, DVD’s, Credit Cards and is unaffected by paper clips and staples. The integrated Automatic Oiling System lubricates the level 5 paper shredder to protect the blades and ensure maximum reliability, efficiency, and capacity. The 400-C2 features Auto Start/Stop operation and includes an Energy Smart System for Zero power consumption in Stand-By mode. Further, it has an automatic Reverse System to prevent jamming and Automatic Stop with light indicator for “Bag Full” and “Door Open” conditions and an attractive High Quality All Steel Cabinet on casters for easy mobility.
