After your order is shipped and we have received payment from our merchant Capital Shredder destroys all credit card information. This means the total time your information is retained in our secure server is approximately 72 hours.

Capital Shredder uses two types of security. The first type is called (SSL) Secure Socket Layer technology. This technology scrambles all your personal information once it leaves your computer and our server puts it back together once it arrives. During its travels it cannot be read. The second type of security we use is called a FIREWALL. This type of software is widely used in today's market. It is simple the way it works. Our systems are always running and always talking to each other. When an outside source is trying to see our information this software simply denies access. It uses several other very detailed programs to scramble and block privileged information but in simple terms if they don't need the information chances are very good they are not going to get it.

Standard shipping is used in most cases within the US and usually takes 2-7 business days. Standard shipping may not include inside delivery or liftgate service and extra charges may apply. Expedited shipping is available on request. Government and military overseas shipments can be made to a point of embarkation within the US or via commercial carrier worldwide. Shipping to APO/FPO addresses must be via US Postal Service and is subject to their 70 lb weight limitation. Extra shipping charges may be applied to APO/FPO shipments. All shipping costs to points outside of the US are estimates only and subject to change. We will contact you to confirm pricing and shipping arrangements. Capital Shredder will not be responsible for delays directly related to the carrier.

All returns and exchanges are at the discretion of Capital Shredder. However we do want you to be satisfied with your purchase. We will take back most unopened products and issue a refund (minus shipping & handling) for a period of 7 days after delivery. Capital Shredder will not issue a refund for any opened, used, special order or custom made products. Customers must inspect their product for damage at time of delivery and report any defective product within 7 days of receipt. Capital Shredder will repair, exchange or refund at our discretion any damaged or defective product at no cost to you. You must send the product and the package in order to receive a refund.

Capital Shredder will cover this liability if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases mad at Capital Shredder while using the secure server. In the event of unauthorized use of your card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting guidelines.
