Description:
DOD Multi-Purpose High Volume Industrial Shredder. Has been evaluated by NSA and meets the requirements of NSA/CSS Specification 02-02 for High Security Disintegrators. Rated at 400 lbs per hour for classified shredding. A revolutionary development in shredding technology, the MX-5 combines High Speed Rotating Blades and Turbine Airflow to shred up to 500 sheets of paper at a time. This shredder will also easily handle CD's, Key Tape, ID Cards, Floppy Discs, Microfiche and other classified media. The MX-5 is operator friendly. Just press the start button, throw in the material and leave. When shredding is complete the MX-5 will automatically shut down. Equipped with an integrated vacuum system and double insulated shredding chamber the MX-5 is quiet and dust-free. Plastic waste bags are easily replaced and a built-in trolley provides for easy transport and disposal. The MX-5 is designed for low maintenance. No oiling or lubrication is required.
